Fjord Fuzz MIME Reverb (Red/White)
They say:
Mímir (or Mime), renowned for his knowledge and wisdom was beheaded during the Æsir–Vanir War. Odin picked up his severed head and would use it for council, as a sort of oracle.
In the early 2020s man created a new sort of oracle for himself despite of all its potential dangers. MIME was an experiment in using the then-novel and now very controversial early artificial intelligence chatbot systems to create something potentially useful in the pedal realm. Countless hours of nudging and tweaking eventually created a pretty harsh, but interesting reverb algorithm and after adding analogue feedback and mix controls, MIME was born.
To further explore this domain we also created a warm and dark reverb with a dynamic engine around it, using nothing but our good old-fashioned human brains, but never told anybody which of the algorithms was actually made by us and which was generated by AI. It was a sort of battle between man and machine in the curious form of a reverb pedal. We have never created a more controversial product.
This second iteration of MIME refines both of the original algorithms and adds a third, chirpy, quacky spring reverb to go along with it. The AI-generated section has been greatly altered, essentially seeing man reclaim from the machine, what was previously his, I suppose.
