Company history We've been doing this pretty much forever, so it seems hard to pinpoint a start date, but we'll give you a general timeline. Out of the (literal) ashes of the Scholar Coffeehouse and Oblivion Records rose Eclipse Concert Systems, Inc. In the beginning, we didn't sell anything at all, but were instead a national sound and lighting tour company. The list of artists we worked for is too long to list, but eventually long overnight rides and uncomfortable frightening hotel rooms in the middle of nowhere led to us settling down in West St, Paul, Minnesota and deciding to sell things instead of trying to chase down promoters to get paid. In 1986, we decided (over a 3 hour dinner conversation) to start selling guitars to keep things interesting. 20+ years later, it still is. | Toys. Toys are good. Starved for more Eclipse attention? Come find us on Myspace! Believe it or not, we encourage people to post their gigs in our comments section, so feel free. (Note: this does not include posting free iPhone spam, weird dating site links, or other things like that, so don't.) |
